In a region of many expats and people from abroad moving to High Tech region Eindhoven it is likely that foreign Ham Radio operaters that move to our region want to obtain a Dutch license.
This is possible as long as your foreign license is comparable to the extension of Recommendation T/R 61-02. (including the syllabus)You can apply for a Dutch License at the Dutch Telecom regulator ‘RDI’ or ‘ Rijksinspectie voor Digitale Infrastructuur’ at https://rd2.toegang.overheid.nl/coam/login.
Moving to the Netherlands
If you move to the Netherlands on a permanent basis you may apply for a Dutch F-licence on production of a HAREC issued by an other country. You have to be a ”permanent” Dutch resident to be able to obtain a Dutch Radio license. This can be done by fill in the right form accomplished with a copy of your HAREC (T/R 61-02) certificate and BSN number (the number you received when you became a Dutch resident) or, if you have obtained a DigID digital code you can do this online via the website of RDI (https://www.rdi.nl/onderwerpen/radiozen ... endamateur). This page is in Dutch so you would probably need Google Translate as there is no option for English.
HAREC
A HAREC certificate (or Harmonised Amateur Radio Examination Certificate) shall contain at least the following information in the
language of the country of issue as well as in English, French and/or German:
a) a statement to the effect that the holder has passed an examination, meeting the requirements described in recommendation T/R 61-02;
b) the holder’s name and date of birth;
c) the date of issue;
d) the issuing authority.

You are also more than welcome on one of our social evenings at the local Veron department in Eindhoven where we can do this together or partially with help. We hope this is clear for you and that obtaining the Dutch license is an ease.
Mooi initiatief maar: hoe logt een expat in als ie geen digid heeft? Dan moet je immers gewoon per mail een formulier aanvragen.

Ja die pagina ken ik maar is in principe een pagina gericht op meerdere vormen van buitenlanders die Nederland bezoeken. Bijvoorbeeld een gastlicentie van een jaar of hoe je buitenlandse licentie in Nederland te gebruiken tijdens je werk/vakantie bezoek.
In ons geval zijn de vragen die vaak specifiek van een expat komen die zich in Nederland hebben gevestigd en dus een Nederlandse licentie willen hebben. Vandaar ook die specifieke pagina. Ik kan dan de mensen die me mailen doorverwijzen direct doorverwijzen naar de info.
Helder dat jouw info betrekking heeft op een andere doelgroep.

Dan zie je rechts de link (op de VERON home page) naar "visiting the Netherlands". Het zou mooi zijn als de informatie voor permanent verblijf daar ook zou staan. De info is dan ook beschikbaar voor mensen buiten de ASML-regio.
