Net om 09.24 uur Nederlandse tijd WA2TPU gewerkt op 40 meter, hij had 2 watt output!

Zijn signaal was 529!

Mijn antenne GP en Beverage voor ontvangst, ik denk dat hij een draad beam gebruikte, ik wacht nog op info.

Zo zie je maar weer, ook 40m blijft verassen.

Hierna om 9.34 nog HK1ANP gewerkt.

op welke mode en frequentie was dat Kees?

Ik heb toch best een aardige antenne staan voor 40 meter, maar wat een ellebogenwerk is dat tegenwoordig onder de 7.100

Ik hoorde gisteren dat een mede amateur 1 straat verderop op 40 meter contact had met ZL6A. En dat was met een simpele end-fed draad. Misschien is dat ook iets wat de hobby interessant maakt.

Dat was CW, het signaal rapport zegt dat al, bij CW (7.003)geeft men 3 cijfers, 3e cijfer is toon kwaliteit (9=perfect).

Met normale antennes en vermogen kun je dagelijks ZL (Nieuw Zeeland) werken als je op het goede tijdstip luistert (Gray-line, beiden stations in de schemering).

Die heeft een bergtop gekocht en heeft daar draadbeams gespannen om degelijks met Europa op de lage banden te kunnen werken!

I was using a home-brewed 4 element 40 meter Bruce Array with quite an extensive radial field under it, This Bruce Array runs from the South to the North- its a wire type antenna and is hung on ropes between tall trees. The one I was using this morning to talk with you is the 4 element one in a North to South straight-line. The Bruce antenna is a bi-directional antenna...in this case the North?South configuration radiates to Europe in the East and also radiates West to W6,W7,KH6, and the Pacific -KH7,P29,V73,KG6,9M2,etc.
I like Bruce Arrays a lot Kees and have another one up in the trees radiating to the North West and South East on 40 meters.
